Our Mission Statement

Let us introduce ourselves:

Thank you for the opportunity to introduce ourselves to you. We would like to share with you through this web site about our church and our ministry. We at Heaven Bound Baptist Church are an independent Baptist church and have no denominational affiliation. The purpose for which the church was established is to continue:

1.To glorify God

2.To propagate and disseminate the truths of God’s word.

3.To help people to a personal saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

4.To meet for worship and teaching of God’s word so that the saints can be equipped for the God’s service. (Eph. 4:12, for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ :)

5.Some objectives in our services are an emphasis of the worship of God, preaching of the Word of God, to be an outreach of active support of Christian missions. To give support to foreign missionaries.

What Do We Believe?

The following is a brief statement of faith:

The Bible

The Bible is the word of God, the 66 books of the Old and New Testament, verbally inspired by God in all parts, and therefore, is wholly without error as originally given by God ( 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21).

The One True God

The One True God who is revealed in the Bible as existing eternally as three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, each possessing Divine perfection and worthy of precisely the same homage and obedience (Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14).

The Lord Jesus Christ

The Lord Jesus Christ: His preexistence and deity (John 1:1-3), incarnation by the virgin birth (John 1:14), sinless life (Heb. 4:15; 7:26), substitutionary death (2 Cor. 5:21), bodily resurrection (Luke 24:36-43), ascension into heaven and present ministry (Heb. 4:16) and coming again (Acts 1:11).

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit: His personality and deity (John 16:7-15; Acts 5:3, 42). His works of regeneration (John 3:6; Titus 3:5), sanctification of believers (Gal. 5:22-23), and evangelism (Acts 1:8).

Man: Adam (the first man) was originally created holy, but by his sins alienated himself and all mankind from God. Because of Adam’s sin, all men have transmitted to them a sin nature, which is totally depraved. Therefore, all men are sinners by Divine declaration, nature and choice and thereby are under the wrath of God (Psalm 14:1-3; 51:5; Jeremiah 17:9: John 3:36; Romans 3:9-23; 5:12; Eph. 2:1-2).

Salvation: Because man is spiritually dead, he is under the power and condemnation of sin and can do nothing to save himself (Rom. 5:12; 3:23). Salvation is complete and eternal, freely initiated and provided for by God in infinite grace through the saving works of the Lord Jesus Christ and from God, whereby sinners receive forgiveness of sins and are reconciled with God through repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His finished work (Eph. 2:8-9; Titus 3:5-7; Luke 24:46-47).

Ordinances: (1) Water Baptism is immersion in water in which a believer signifies his death to sin, his new life in Christ, and his union with the Triune God (Matt. 28:19) and (2) the Lord’s Super (1 Cor. 11:20-33).

Christian life: the believer is called to pursue holiness of life; he is to be separated from sin and the world by a Christ-like walk (Romans 12:11-2; 1 Peter 1:16; John 2:6; Heb. 12:1-2).

Please allow us the privilege to get to know you. A warm welcome is extended to you to come and worship with us, and you may come to know Jesus Christ as personal Savior.
